Vintage 1948 Coro Patented Design Gold Plate Rhinestone Floral   Spoon Brooch

The spoon design on this brooch was patented in 1948, #150,789, by Adolph Katz for Coro. The brooch is gold-plated with a floral pattern on the handle end and a bouquet of three white daisies with pink gold-foil backed rhinestone centers and a swirling tendril to one side. The stem bunch is pulled together with a cornflower blue rhinestone setting. The signature Coro in script, a signature used since 1919, is imprinted on the reverse side. The dimensions are 3"L x 1"W x 1/4"H. The condition is excellent.
